 "finding": "The real dwell has three speeds, not one: the platform's 7,662 m/s, the image rows' sweep over the ground at 7,014 m/s, and 7,330 m/s from the Doppler rate, their geometric mean to 9 parts per million. The first investigation's flat-earth simulator used one and put the Doppler rate 8% off. Over the 24.49 s processed aperture the platform moves 187.6 km (169 km between the reference bank's first and last sub-aperture centres, the figure quoted before). A look's azimuth resolution times its duration is fixed at 1.10 m s: a 1.96 s look resolves 0.56 m. On this geometry the synthesizer's point response is 4.5 cm by 22 cm, and a target receding at 2 mm/s moves -0.16 m in azimuth (predicted -0.16 m)."
